Christmas Closing Dates:
The centre will be closed from Weds 23 Dec 09 and re-open on Mon 4th Jan 2010.
Christmas cards:
We have a few packs of ‘Winter Scene’ cards left at a very good price. £2 for a pack of 10 cards or £5 for 3 packs. Ring or drop in at the centre before they all go. (Postage at cost).

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
It doesn’t seem possible that another year has gone by at Headway. Thanks to everyone who has supported us over 2009 and we hope that you all have a very happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.
The Garden:
As a result of donations from some very generous benefactors, the garden landscaping was completed in November. The borders have been weeded and mulched ready for the winter, thanks to a team of volunteers from Thomson Snell and Passmore. We now have access across the whole area and in the new year will be in the process of drawing up planting plans and thinking about Spring!
Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to our garden project, by practical help and/ or donations. We look forward to getting the other parts of the plan finished next year and of having many productive and enjoyable days in the garden for years to come.
SCALEXTRIC CHALLENGE top of page
Did you use to have a Scalextric Track as a child? Re-hone your skills as a driver at the Headway / Chequered Flag Scalextric Challenge on Saturday 20 February. Challenge your family, friends or work colleagues to a duel on the track and raise funds for Headway at the same time.

COFFEE MORNING: top of page
The Coffee Morning on Weds 9 December raised £360, so a big thank you to all who came and especially to those who contributed items to the cakes and raffle stalls. It was a lovely morning and good to see a number of friends and supporters.

Supporters who become a ‘Member of Headway’ will have received their newsletter earlier in the summer. Why not join them for the small sum of £10 per year? A Membership form is available on this website.
